You get one five ways: Nurture Wild Surges, Prismana Flow via the Branch, the free Prismana Pact pick, Prismana Eggs, or limited-time events. The game's own help states the Prismana form appears "only in a Prismana environment", and a full Prismatic Energy bar guarantees one spawns.
What Is Prismana?
Prismana is one of the game's 19 form types — the rare form that appears in a Prismana environment, alongside regional, weather and nighttime forms. It changes the Aniimo's appearance to a special "shiny"-style variant. No stat difference has been announced between a Prismana form and the normal form of the same species.
Prismana is a form, not a mutation — it does not change Innate Potentials, traits or personality.
How to Get Prismana
Method 1 — Prismana Flow
The Branch system's core loop. Upgrade the Breezy Plains Branch to level 6 (Prismana Radiance), then absorb 1 Prismana Crystal to trigger a Prismana Flow — a weather event that makes Prismana Aniimo appear in the region. Max 3 per day, 1-minute cooldown. Full details: Prismana Flow Guide.
Method 2 — Nurture / Prismatic Energy
Nurture is the regional ecology system: open a Bloom, catch the Aniimo it attracts (a Wild Surge), and release the stored Prismatic Energy into the region. Every energy gain has a chance to push the region to Full — and a full bar means a Prismana will appear after a Wild Surge. Requires the region's Bronze Collection Badge (40% collection progress).
Method 3 — Prismana Pact
The Prismana Pact is the free-choice launch event: pick one of 14 Prismana Aniimo for free and claim it at character level 40 + Wayfarer promotion. It's permanent, always open to new players. Which one to pick?
Method 4 — Prismana Egg
Prismana Eggs can hatch directly into a Prismana form. There's a guaranteed free egg route in Echoback Landing.
Method 5 — Events / Special Rewards
Rotating events add Prismana as guests. The Vein Abundance event rotates four event-exclusive Prismana: Glynsera, Inferlupa, Melloblum and Waleetle.
How to Unlock Nurture
- Earn the region's Bronze Collection Badge — 40% Collection Progress (check the map's Aniimo Distribution button)
- Open Nurture — with the badge, a button takes you straight to the Branch feature
- Pick an area with a badge, place optional offerings, and activate — the Bloom enters budding
- Touch the Bloom to open it → a Wild Surge begins
Daily limit: 1 free Nurture (includes 3 energy infusions) + 10 paid with Primegy. The quota does not carry over.
How Prismatic Energy Works
- Gain it via Nurture (energy released when you pick the Veinfruit) or Lucky Strikes (random chance on any capture — the only source that doesn't cost daily quota)
- Higher energy = higher-tier Aniimo appear
- Every gain has a chance to push the region to Full → a brilliant Prismana Flow appears
- Full bar = guaranteed Prismana after a Wild Surge
- Each region has its own Prismana species
How to Trigger Prismana Flow
- Upgrade the Branch to level 6 — Prismana Radiance (feed it Lumin Amber from Alpha/Omega first clears, Sanctums, Blessed Aniimo and open-world pickups)
- Open Change Weather at the Branch
- Absorb 1 Prismana Crystal → 1 Prismana Flow immediately
- Limit: 3 per day, 1-minute cooldown
No crystal? The game says: "Insufficient Prismana Crystals. Cannot change the weather." — get crystals from Nurture rewards.

When a Prismana Flow triggers, open your map — the spawn is marked there (and the sky changes color). Don't stand next to the Bloom waiting.
How Prismana Orb Works
The Prismana Orb is a Change Form item that toggles an eligible Aniimo into its Prismana form — it does not unlock the form. You use it from the Aniimo menu (Select Aniimo → Change Form → Prismana), not the Inventory. Works on 25 Breezy Plains natives with an unlocked Prismana Form.
