How Aniimo Discovery works
- A new Aniimo is sighted across Idyll — Polaris Institute needs field research.
- Spend Search Attempts to track and capture it.

Search Attempts — the key rule
- Free Search Attempts refill periodically — the Institute tops you up over time.
- Unspent free attempts do NOT stack. Once you hit the free cap, you stop earning more. Use them promptly so you don't waste the refill.
- Out of free attempts? Spend Vein Essence to continue searching.
This "use it or lose it" cap is the one rule most players miss — if you sit at full free attempts, you're losing the periodic refill.
Research quests & Search Buffs
- Completing research quests for the target Aniimo earns rewards.
- As your research progress advances, you unlock Search Buffs at the Research Center — these make tracking and capturing easier.
